Apprentice Electrician / Electrical Helper
Location: Dayton, Ohio & surrounding areas
Job Type: Full-Time
Your Role
You'll work as part of our residential electrical team and assist with a variety of service and installation projects, including:
Assisting with residential electrical repairs, remodels, and new installations
Installing wiring, switches, receptacles, lighting, breakers, and other electrical components
Assisting with electrical panel replacements and service upgrades
Working alongside experienced electricians on larger residential projects
Helping diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems
Learning how to properly identify materials, equipment, and tools required for each job
Reading basic electrical drawings, diagrams, and installation instructions
Developing your understanding of the NEC and applicable local electrical requirements
Recognizing potential electrical hazards and maintaining safe working practices
Keeping work areas, vehicles, tools, and equipment clean and organized
Treating customers' homes with care and maintaining a professional jobsite
Communicating professionally with homeowners and members of the team
Participating in company training and continuing education
What We're Looking For
The right person will have:
1–3 years of practical electrical experience
Previous experience working with residential electrical systems
A basic understanding of electrical installation methods and safety
The ability to safely operate common electrical hand and power tools
Familiarity with common residential electrical materials and components
Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
A strong work ethic and dependable attendance
A willingness to learn and take direction from experienced electricians
The ability to work effectively as part of a team
Pride in producing neat, professional work
A professional attitude when working inside customers' homes
A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
The ability to pass required background and drug screening
Authorization to work in the United States

$17–$21/hour based on experience and skill level

Journeyman Electrician
Location: Dayton, Ohio & surrounding areas
Job Type: Full-Time
Your Role
· Ability to float between residential and commercial as needed
· Execute precision conduit bending and installation using EMT, rigid, and PVC materials across diverse job site conditions.
· Install new electrical systems in compliance with the electrical code.
· Diagnose and resolve problems in electrical circuits, systems, and equipment using testing instruments and equipment.
· Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion
· Select material and hardware and make time and materials estimates.
· Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
· Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean.
· Must be available for on-call rotation for 24 hour emergency service calls
· Full-time position – must be willing to work overtime or weekend hours if needed
What We're Looking For
· Past foreman experience preferred
· Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
· Ability to handle physical workloads and work in various weather environments
· Strong, professional communication skills
· Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints, technical drawings, diagrams, and other schematics.
· Valid Driver’s License – must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record
· Pre-Employment drug testing and a federal background check are required.
· Must be motivated and able to work independently or with other coworkers.
